While all full-size SUVs on this list declined in sales when compared to last year, they are still selling in significant numbers. Dodge Durango tops the list, as GM is no longer reporting their sales results monthly (they will report quarterly).
Ford says that the new Expedition is still ramping up
Toyota Tacoma continues with big number sales in May 2018. The company once again sold over 20,000 midsize trucks per month (21,380 Tacomas to be exact). It also marks a 21.1% improvement over May 2017.
The Nissan Frontier declined in sales, but the truck still sold 6,938 units, and it is still up
The May 2018 truck sales numbers are in, and the month brought mixed results. Ford F-series enjoyed another nearly record-setting month with 84,639 full-size trucks sold. The company continue to grow the truck sales when compared to a year ago. Ram trucks also had an improved sales month with 46,781 trucks
The Toyota Tacoma has managed to stop the recent sales decreases in May 2017. It improved by 6.7% over May of last year. Still, all Year-To-Date (YTD) comparisons show a decline in sales across the midsize pickup truck segment.
