The suspension modifications alone make this ROUSH Ford Ranger an off-road menace.

This new ROUSH Ford Ranger, may heal some wounded Ford fans. For many of us in the United States, we are left wanting knowing that the Ford Ranger Raptor is available in other markets, but not ours. In many ways, the Ranger Raptor is a serious suspension, armor, tire and interior upgrade.

Now it appears that ROUSH is going to provide an interesting alternative. Keep in mind, you will have to cough up some dough to get it done. Still, looking at this comprehensive series of upgrades, it would be mighty expensive to do it all on your own.

Here’s what you get for $12,750 – on top of the purchase price for the Ranger:

Suspension:

This ROUSH Ranger is outfitted with a ROUSH/FOX performance suspension system. According to ROUSH, it “maximizes the truck’s off-road capability and improves its on-road comfort while leveling the stance of the vehicle.”

Tires and wheels:

General Tire 32-inch Grabber A/TX tires come with 18-inch satin black ROUSH design wheels.

Engine/exhaust:

A ROUSH dual-tip cat-back performance exhaust system provides a “spirited” exhaust note. It features ROUSH-etched stainless steel tips. No mention on performance gains.

Body kit:

The body kit is rather extensive:

Fender flares with integrated lighting painted in Magnetic Grey provide proper coverage for the larger tires. Other exterior styling upgrades include a signature ROUSH grille with dual LED lights, custom red tow hooks, custom fender vent badges, ROUSH “R” puddle lamps, and a standard graphics package.

“The 2020 ROUSH Ranger is our first mid-sized pickup truck and a project we’ve been excited about for a long time,” said Jack Roush Jr. “The Ranger is a great platform out of the factory, but we’ve taken it to the next level, giving it the performance and capabilities to make it an exceptional all-around vehicle on any terrain.”
