2021 Chevy Colorado
The current 2020 Colorado pickup truck has a current starting price of $21,300 before shipping and handling fees, according to Chevy.com. The updated 2021 Colorado that is expected to go on sale later this year has a starting price of $25,200 before shipping and handling fees. This is an increase of $3,900. This truck is still configured with the base 2.5-liter gas I4 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The new 2021 Colorado ZR2 extended cab off-road truck starts at $41,600. The current 2020 ZR2 starts at a nearly identical $41,400.
The 2.8-liter turbo-diesel I4 engine is still an option. It costs $3,500 over a comparable 3.6-liter V6. The special ZR2 Bison package that is built in conjunction with AEV is also listed as available The Bison package adds $5,750 to the price. A fully-optioned 2021 Colorado ZR2 Bison crew cab with the 2.8-liter Diesel has a retail price of $56,980. This is an expensive midsize truck, but you can configure a new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon or Mojave to over $61,000.
2021 GMC Canyon
The updated 2021 Canyon has a starting price of $26,400 before shipping and handling charges. The current 2020 GMC Canyon is listed at $22,200 at GMC.com. This is a $4,200 increase in base price.
The 2021 Canyon trim levels have been renamed to the following:
- Elevation Standard (extended cab only)
- Elevation
- AT4 Cloth
- AT4 Leather
- Denali
However, the 2021 Canyon extended cab is NOT available in AT4 or Denali packages. The off-road AT4 and luxurious Denali trim are available only on the crew cab models.
The new crew cab AT4 cloth seats model starts at $38,200. If you configure a 2021 Canyon Denali crew cab 4×4 with the longer bed and most options, the final price comes to $53,040.
