2021 GMC Canyon Denali: Here Is the First Official Look – Inside and Out

The new Canyon gets a Sierra face.

Here is your first look at the new 2021 GMC Canyon Denali midsize truck. GMC already revealed the 2021 Canyon AT4 off-road model several months ago. Now, it’s the luxurious Denali model. Here are all the changes that we know of so far.

2021 GMC Canyon Denali

This a mild refresh that includes a new and larger grille that resembles the larger Sierra trucks. The fog light are now vertical unique that look more premium than before. We currently do not have images of the rear of the new truck, but here is a look at the updated interior.

There are no drastic changes with the interior. The new truck use the latest version of the GM infotainment system. The console transmission shifter and many of the other buttons and controls remain largely the same as before. The Denali still offers a luxurious leather interior, wood appearance trim, heated seats, heated steering wheel, and familiar analog gauges.

We expect the 2021 GMC Canyon Denali to still offer a choice of 3.6-liter gas V6 or a 2.8-liter turbo-diesel I4 engines. The maximum payload and towing ratings are expected to remain the same as before. The updated 2021 GMC Canyon trucks are expected to arrive at dealers at the end of 2020. Pricing will be available closer to launch of the new trucks (including the AT4).
