Toyota releases the following news about the upcoming 2021 Toyota Tundra, 2021 Toyota Tacoma, and the 2021 Toyota Sequoia. These three latest trucks join the existing 4Runner with the dark Nightshade editions. These are all based on the luxurious Limited trim level.
Also, Toyota is rolling out the 2021 Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner with new Trail Special editions. These are off-road focused packages to enhance the trail-riding experience in these trucks.
2021 Toyota Tundra
This announcement also makes it clear that the 2021 Toyota Tundra will remain largely the same as before. The truck gets two special editions, but the chassis, body, and powertrain remain the same as before.
The Nightshade special package adds a dark grille, black wheels, black trim & badges, and an all black interior. The Nightshade special edition will be available in several colors. This 2021 Tundra and the rest of the 2021 trucks will go on sale in August/September 2020 timeframe.
2021 Toyota Tacoma
Toyota says that the Trail Special Edition is about adding more storage capability and unique style to their off-road trucks and SUVs. The 2021 Tacoma and Tundra truck gets additional in-bed storage boxes. The 4Runner gets a roof-rail mounted cargo basket.
