The Tahoe vehicle name was launched as a 1995 model year, which makes it 25 years old. The two-door K5 Blazer preceded the Tahoe, and the Tahoe was also a two-door for a while.

The Tahoes were powered by a variety of engines: 5.7L V8 (350 cu-in), 6.5L Diesel V8, and a mild gas/electric hybrid.

Chevy Suburban

The Chevy Suburban is the longest running nameplate in the automotive industry. The original Suburban came into existence in 1935. The Suburban name is 85 years old. Big four-door Suburbans roamed the earth for a long time.

2021 and Beyond

The upcoming Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Cadillac will be based on the latest light-duty truck chassis, and all of the prototypes seen so far suggest that the 2021 SUVs will get rid of the solid rear axle and go with an independent rear suspension. This generally helps with ride comfort and interior space for people and cargo.

We will have all of the official details for you at 8pm EST today.
