Bollinger B1 & B2

Bollinger says that the production B1 SUV and the B2 pickup truck will have all the features and components that the team designed from the very beginning.

In other words, it’s still an all-wheel-drive all-electric off-road vehicle with heavy duty truck payload capability of approximately 5,000 lbs (the maximum towing rating is 7,500 lbs). It has easily removable doors, roof, and windshield. It still has a unique pass-through storage capability, height-adjustable suspension with 15-inches of ground clearance, and more.

Another way of thinking about these trucks: they are heavy duty all-electric versions of a Jeep Wrangler (B1) and Jeep Gladiator (B2).

The trucks use one electric motor in the front and one in the rear. Total output is rated at 614 hp and 668 lb-ft of torque.

The trucks have an estimated driving range of 200 miles or (70.2 MPGe).

The motors are fed by a 120 kWh battery pack that is mounted in the center floor section of the vehicle. Bollinger says the truck can get a full charger in about 10 hours with a Level 2 charger. A 75-minute full recharge is also supported via a Level 3 (DC fast) charger.

The B1 and B2 are off-road ready with front and rear locking differentials, front and rear disconnecting/hydraulic sway bars, low range gearing, and portal axles. These trucks are sealed and capable of fording 36 inches of water.

Storage

  • Frunk / front storage: 14 cu-ft
  • Bollinger pass-through (patent-pending): firewall opening is 16×14 inch. B1 pass-through length: 13-ft; B2 pass-through length: 16-ft.
  • B1 & B2 bed / rear storage width is 4-ft 1-inch.
  • B2 bed length: 5-ft 9-inch
  • B1 cargo floor length (rear seats removed): 5-ft 1-inch
  • B2 cargo floor length (rear seats removed): 8-ft 1-inch

The Bollinger trucks have 10 AC 110v power outlets. 220v power outlets are optional. The trucks are also equipped with an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

At this time, these electric trucks are planned to be offered only in Bollinger Black paint/coating you see in these images.
