We have new information from the Central Florida International Auto Show that the new 2020 Ford Super Duty F-250 Tremor off-road package will cost an additional $3,975. This is not an official public statement by Ford.
2020 Ford Super Duty
Ford is updating the Super Duty lineup of trucks for 2020. The trucks are getting new grilles, bumpers, and lights. The trucks are getting an updated 6.7-liter V8 turbo-diesel with yet to be announced power and towing numbers. The new heavy duty trucks are also getting an all-new 7.3-liter gas V8 engine. A 10-speed automatic transmission is also coming.
Perhaps, one of the more anticipated 2020 F-250 and F-350 packages is the new Tremor off-road package. It give the truck a small lift, 35-inch Goodyear Duratrac tires, a rear locker, a front limited slip, and a crawl control system. The Tremor package will be available on F-250 and F-350 trucks, in several trims, with a gas or a diesel engine.
Many people are already calling the F-250 Tremor a direct competitor to the Ram Power Wagon. While a Power Wagon packages offers more (including a winch) – it costs approximately $8,000. Now, this new information suggests that the Tremor package will cost about half of that (at around $4,000).
Our initial guess was that the Tremor package would come in at $5,000 or less, and this new report confirms that for now.
