This 2021 Toyota Tundra Crew Cab Prototype Has a ‘Mad Max’ Grille (Spied in the Wild)

Could this be the next Tundra TRD Pro?

Here is another close look at the 2021 Toyota Tundra crew cab prototype spied in the wild. This time we get to see a strange ‘Mad Max’ type grille and basic round headlights. Is Toyota simply camouflaging the new truck in this weird way, or will the next generation Tundra have all new and very aggressive styling?

2020 Toyota Tundra

We have information source in the know and other spy photographers that suggests that the next 2021 Tundra will use a gas/electric hybrid powertrain. The information we have says the new truck will have an available twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 combined with an electric motor or motors for a total power output of around 450 horsepower.

Toyota has not officially states any specs or details about the upcoming Tundra pickup truck.

This prototype appears to have the same crew cab as the current Tundra, judging by the overall shape and the doors? Will the 2021 Tundra has a different cab? We will have to wait and see.

The prototype is using 6-lug hugs (instead of 5-lug hubs on the current trucks). Another interesting thing to note is that the prototype has an aggressive approach angle and no front lower air dam. Could this be the next-gen Tundra TRD Pro or another off-road variant?
