Ram is bringing back the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 for their 2020 half-ton trucks. It will be available later this year, and the off-road Ram Rebel will also be offered with this latest 3rd-generation turbo-diesel.

The power rating on the new diesel is 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. This is a significant improvement over the previous engine output of 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The new EcoDiesel will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
