On this episode of “Dude I love (or hate) my new ride”, Travis shows his new Ford F-150 4×4 and explains how he saved approximately $16,000 on a brand new pickup truck.
Travis searched online for the best deal on a truck, and found one out of state. The savings were listed up front, so he pulled the trigger, bought a one-way plane ticket, and went to get the truck.
This Ford F-150 STX trim has a 2.7l EcoBoost V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The dealership stood behind the advertised savings and he was able to get a new truck for close to $30,000. Travis drove the truck home, and after several months he is seeing fuel economy between 19-20 MPG. Travis says the truck’s trip meter overestimates the fuel economy by about 0.5 MPG.
