Towing Capacities

Then there’s the all-important question of towing. The 2020 Chevy Silverado HD ups the towing ante over the outgoing model, towing a maximum of 35,500 pounds in the correct configuration. Across the range, towing capacities span from 14,500 on the low end with the 6.6 gas engine, all the way up to that figure with a regular cab, diesel-equipped dually model.

Here’s how the numbers break down, with conventional bumper pull towing capacities and fifth-wheel gooseneck capacities.
