Ford has not officially announced any specifications for the upcoming Super Duty trucks, but we do know that it will potentially be revealed before the we see the new Ford Bronco, and that production 2020 SD trucks should roll off the factory line in November 2019.

However, unconfirmed reports suggest that it will be powered by a new 7.3L V8 gas engine that should offer a big boost to the power and torque ratings of the current 6.2L gas V8. HD truck manufacturers are not abandoning big gas V8 engines yet.

Let us know your guesses (in the comments below) on how much power and torque the new gas V8 engine might produce.

There are other reports that suggest that the 2020 Super Duty trucks will offer a heavy duty version of the 10-speed automatic transmission. GM announced that they plan to offer an Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission in the upcoming 2020 Chevy HD trucks.
