The 2019 Detroit Auto Show brought us the latest generation of Ram Heavy Duty trucks. Today, Ram unveiled the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty Laramie Longhorn Edition at the Houston Auto Show.
Real Leather, Real Wood, Real Steel
The 2019 Ram Heavy Duty Laramie Longhorn edition comes loaded with premium materials on the interior. Not only do you get the upgraded technology feature on all new 2019 Ram Heavy Duty pickups, but you also get a dashboard covered in full grain leather and real wood inserts. Leather seats, and steel dash trim pieces. Like other Laramie Longhorns, the interior design takes cues from antique pocket watches, leather boots and horse saddles.
A different look outside, too
Ram has also given the Heavy Duty Laramie Longhorn some different exterior cues as well. Standard upgrades include the chrome-slat grille and header surrounding LED lamps with Adaptive Front-lighting System standard. You also get chrome bumpers, tow hooks and side steps, with power steps optional. The Laramie Longhorns also have the option of two-tone paint, and available 20-inch wheels, in a variety of finishes. Oh, plus a bunch of Laramie Longhorn badges, themed like belt buckles.
Still has 1,000 lb-ft of torque
The biggest news about the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty trucks is the class leading 1,000 lb-ft of torque and 35,000+ pound maximum towing capacity.
