We had about a day to digest the newly released images and information for the all-new 2020 Chevy Silverado HD. We still don’t have many specs and details, but we know that the new the trucks will make their public debut in February. While there may be more than one debut event, we estimate that the new trucks will also be display at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show (Feb 9-18th, 2019).

Chevrolet released several additional images of the truck, and we present them here. Unfortunately, we do not have any view of the bed, under the hood, or on the inside of the truck.

What else do we know about the new GM heavy duty. The truck is bigger than the outgoing model. Chevrolet says the new truck has three inches more legroom inside than the outgoing model. We do not yet have all of the other dimensions & specs.  We will share these as soon as they are available.

It will have a choice of two powertrains: a new direct-injected gas engine with a 6-speed automatic or the turbo-diesel engine that is mated to a new 10-speed Allison automatic transmission. The diesel engine is listed at 910 lb-ft of torque, which is the same as the current L5P 6.6-liter Duramax V8 turbo-diesel.

Other unique features include the new towing mirrors, LED roof-mounted heavy duty marker lights, and a handy bed-step on the side.

We want to get your first opinion on the new truck. Please give us your feedback using the poll and the comments section below.
