The 2019 Ford Ranger goes on sale in the U.S. in a few months. However, the Ranger Raptor specialty off-road truck is not coming here, at least not for several years. What are you to do, but turn to the aftermarket and try to build your own Ranger Raptor? How high can you lift your new Ford Ranger?

Ford announces seven new Ranger concept trucks at the 2018 SEMA show that opens next week. Take a look at all seven of them. Anything catch your eye?

2019 Ford Ranger Pre-Runner by Ford Performance

Ford’s Performance division presents this “Pre-Runner” truck concept in-lieu of the proper Ranger Raptor. Just like all of these concept trucks, this one is based on the Ranger Crew Cab 4×4.

There is just one powertrain choice. It’s a 270 hp turbocharged 2.3L I4 that produces 310 lb-ft of torque.

The Pre-Runner is using FOX and BDS suspension components for a 3-inch leveling and lift. There is a Borla exhaust system, additional skid plates, and BFGoodrich KO2 tires among other desert-ready components.

XBOX Ranger

If you want to go higher with more lift, take a look at the XBOX Ranger by ADD. This one features a 6-inch lift. It uses BDS suspension and FOX shocks to achieve the lift and show off the suspension. It also uses a Ford Performance by Borla exhaust system, and customized bumpers and rack by ADD.

Ranger Base-Camp

If you are looking to go off the grid for a while, this Ranger Base Camp offers a solution. It uses much of the same mods as the Pre-Runner ranger, but it goes a bit further with a snorkel air intake, and a bed rack-mounted folding tent.

Ranger Nightfall

If you are looking for a larger diameter wheel option, then this Ranger Project Nightfall may fit the bill with 20-inch rims, a 3-inch FOX leveling kit, and customized bumpers and exterior components.

Ranger X

If a new Ranger is simply too small, then take a look at the Ranger X concept by BDS. This one feature a stretched 136-in wheelbase for a crew cab long-bed option. It rides on a BDS 6-inch suspension lift and a customized bed storage system.

Baja-forged Ranger

The Baja-forged Ranger concept feature the suspension lift and setup by Icon Vehicle Dynamics. This SEMA truck is showing what a desert-racer Ranger could be.

Air Design USA Ranger

This Air Design USA concept shows another perspective of a Ranger on 20-inch wheels and BFGoodrich KO2 tires. Take a look at the customized hood and roof-mounted light pod.
