Chevy Canada has finally gotten around to releasing pricing for the 2019 Silverado, and it is slightly cheaper at most levels compared to the outgoing model.
The 2019 Silverado starts at $35,000 in Canada for a Work Truck in Double Cab Standard Bed form, $295 less than the same model currently. For now, Chevy hasn’t built any regular cab trucks for the Canadian market, though when they come online that will no doubt become the cheapest option.
Moving up the trim levels, the Silverado Custom starts at $37,700 as a Double Cab with the Standard Bed, while the Custom Trail Boss will cost $43,000.
Chevy says that the LT model, one of the highest volume trims, is now $1,000 cheaper than the outgoing model, even though it features the new 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. LTs start at $40,900 for the a Double Cab with a Standard Bed.
At the top end of the lineup, the High Country model, which is only available as a Crew Cab Short Bed (at least for now), will sell for $65,800.
Compared to the US Silverado, the Canadian truck is more expensive (as Canadian vehicles always are). The Silverado in the States starts at $33,695 for a Work Truck Double Cab Standard Bed, $1305 more than the same truck in Canada.
The differences become really apparent when you look at the top-end of the lineup. The High Country Silverado in the US goes for $54,495, a full $11,305 less than the same truck in Canada.
