The 2019 Tacoma SX package is about getting the “blacked out” look on a budget. It’s available on the base SR grade of the Tacoma, and it can be had in 2WD and 4×4 configurations. The Tacoma SX blacks out the badges, fender flares, mirror caps, the grille, door handles, and headlamps. The 16-inch rims are also painted black.

The SX package is available in six body colors: Super White, Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Barcelona Red, and Quicksand colors. The package costs $560.

If you like the base Tundra SR5 double cab but want a little more customization and style, Toyota thinks that the new SX package fits the bill. The new Tundra SX starts as a double cab (four-door extended cab) with a 5.7L V8. The package cab be had in a 2WD or a 4×4 configuration.

All of the exterior badges are gone. The SX package adds color-matched grille surround, and front/rear bumper caps. The 18-inch alloy wheels are painted black. The 2019 Tundra SX is available for sale now. The package price is $1,630 on top of the cost of the SR5 truck. SX is available in Super White, Midnight Black Metallic, and Barcelona Red Metallic colors.

We are working to bring you video of the trucks from the 2018 State Fair of Texas. In the meantime, please enjoy this comparison between the Tacoma and the Tundra.
