It’s no secret that GM’s new 3.0-liter straight-six turbo-diesel will find its way under the hood of the fully redesigned 2019 Sierra 1500. We do know that this engine will be paired to the 10-speed automatic transmission. All of the information we have suggests that the DEF tank will be accessible via the fuel-fill door on the driver side, which should make it convenient.
The prototype truck you see here still uses the regular side folding mirrors. We still have not see how the new towing mirrors will look on the new half-ton trucks.
Here are all the news about the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 and the Sierra AT4 that we have so far. We are in Canada this week to drive the new GMC half-ton trucks, so please stay tuned for much more about this truck.
We also know the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 pricing.
