2019 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus Special Editions

Chevy is spreading even more 6.2-liter V8s around its SUV lineup by introducing the Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus special editions.

For those who don’t want the RST Performance Package, which until now was the only way to get the big V8 in these SUVs, the new Premier Plus trim offers big power in a more subdued, luxurious package. Magnetic Ride Control suspension is standard along with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while that big engine still puts out an impressive 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Features in these big SUVs include heated and ventilated Black/Mahogany-colored leather seats, Jet Black trim, a two-tone interior and 22-inch polished wheels.

Golden bowtie logos, chrome badging, cross rails, chrome power steps and a chrome exhaust tip complete the look on the outside.

Pricing for the Tahoe Premier Plus starts at $74,100 plus a destination fee of $1,295. The Suburban Premier Plus starts at $76,900 USD.

If you’re a Costco member, you could qualify to save up $4,500 on the price and take home a $300 or $700 Costco Cash Card. This package is only available on the first 5,000 vehicles, so hurry up if you’re a member and you want a brand new big SUV.

The 2019 Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus can be ordered from Chevrolet dealers now, with production beginning in mid-August.
