You may have already seen the next generation of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, but here we have a crew cab truck chassis prototype towing a test/dyno trailer. Thanks to Brian R. for providing the images.
While the new Sprinter van lineup is going in sale in Europe and other markets soon. We still need to wait for it a little longer here in the United States. This four-door crew cab chassis is an interesting variation on the familiar commercial van. Generally, one may see a two-door chassis van with a flatbed similar to this one.
Here is a current Mercedes Sprinter crew van 4×4 tacking a Colorado trail and our 100-mile highway MPG loop with about 1,000 lbs in the back.
