Which model should you buy?
There’s such a small price difference between the two, that which one you choose really comes down to personal preference. If you like a one-size-fits-all solution that’s practical and understated, we’d recommend the Toyota Land Cruiser. It’s expensive, but it has everything you need. Although, the Highlander should also suit most of your needs. Unless you make heavy use of DVD systems – unlikely in the streaming age – we’d advise against the rear-seat entertainment system.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for a bolder-looking car with a bit of brand prestige, the LX 570 may be a good buy. Most shoppers will go with the Lexus for the added features and the high-end badge over the “mainstream” Toyota.
