How much will the new 2019 Jeep Wrangler pickup truck (aka. JT, unofficially: Scrambler) cost? This recent report from FCA Authority suggested the price will be around $45,000. This information is reportedly coming from an anonymous source at a supplier. This is not officially confirmed by Jeep or FCA.

We know that Jeep has been testing at least two trim levels of the JT pickup truck: luxurious Sahara and the off-road focused Rubicon. The starting price reported here makes more sense for a JT Rubicon model because the JL Wrangler Rubicon 4-door starts at $42,440 (including destination charges).

This is speculation at this time, but it’s reasonable to assume that the JT will be more expensive than the JL Wrangler. If the FCA Authority reported $45,000 price tag is correct and refers to the Rubicon model, then the JT Rubicon truck will be about $2,500 more expensive than a comparable JL Wrangler Rubicon.

What do you think? Is a $2,500 a reasonable premium for the JT pickup truck over the price of a JL? Let us know in the comments below.
