The latest Ford Ranger on sale date is quickly approaching. Ford officially stated that it will reach dealerships in early 2019. New information is coming from BlueOvalForums that reports that Order Bank Open Date will August 13, 2018. The 2019 model year Ranger scheduling begins a month latest on September 13, 2018. Finally, production (aka. Job #1) begins around Thanksgiving on November 26, 2018.
These dates are not confirmed by Ford, but they still make sense in order to begin deliveries to dealerships and customers in early 2019.
We still do not know a lot about the new Ford Ranger. We do not have the power specifications for the 2.3L EcoBoost I4 under its hood. We do not know maximum payload and towing ratings, pricing, fuel economy, and more detailed configurations.
