Nissan Armada Mountain Patrol Concept Shows Adventure Possibilities at the Overland Show (Video)

Overland and adventure vehicles are all the rage these days, and Nissan pushes the envelope further with the Armada Mountain Patrol concept vehicle at the Overland Expo show in Flagstaff, AZ this week.

This full-size adventure vehicle starts life as a stock Nissan Armada 4×4 with its 390 horsepower 5.6L V8 and a 7-speed automatic transmission. The Mountain Patrol was built with feedback from Nissan truck enthusiasts. The package includes Icon Vehicle Design heavy duty coil-over suspension, 17-inch rims and 35-inch tall Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.

The truck has plenty of body protection with giant off-road bumpers and rock sliders on the side. The bumpers provide for improve approach and departure angles for more rough terrain capability.  There is also a 12,000 lbs Warn winch up front and a high-lift jack on the roof rack if the going gets really tough or you need to help a friend in need.

Those long overland trips will require overnight stay, and the Mountain Patrol offers a large four-person roof-rack mounted tent. There are also plenty of additional lights, folding chairs, and other accessories.

The entire TFLtruck team will be in Flagstaff this weekend. You will be able to run into us at the Overland Expo (Ft. Tuthill County Park) on Friday May 18th and Saturday May 19th.  We do not have a booth, but we will be wondering around and talking to people.
