Check out these high resolution images of the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD 2500 / Sierra HD 2500 prototype running down a Michigan highway. Big thanks to Michael for submitting the prototype images. This prototype has unique wheel design. It’s a crew cab, and it appears to be a 4×4 model. The large exhaust pipe suggests that there is a large Duramax turbo-diesel engine under the hood of this truck.
The truck is equipped with side steps and a heavy duty rear hitch. Will the next generation GM HD 3500 trucks be able to tow in the neighborhood of 30,000+ Lbs. We will have to wait and see.
Here is the only official information we have about the upcoming 2020 Chevy Silverado HD trucks. We know they will go on sale towards the end of next year (end of 2019).
