Report: New 2019 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck to Go on Sale in April 2019

When will you be able to purchase an all-new 2019 Jeep Wrangler pickup truck (unofficially called the Jeep Scrambler)? A report from Automotive News suggests that the new midsize truck entry will be heading to dealership on or before April of 2019. This information is reportedly coming from an FCA dealership meeting late last week.

This is a welcome news to all Jeep enthusiasts, and it also confirms the overall schedule of Jeep rolling out the new 2018 Wrangler JL this year and the upcoming Wrangler pickup, which is supposed to arrive “about year later”.

When will we know the official name for this truck, and when will it be unveiled? We do not know this for sure yet, but it is a good bet that the 2019 pickup truck will make its world debut either at the 2018 LA Auto Show this November, or at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show in January.

The Wrangler pickup is likely to share the same power plants as in the Wrangler JL: 3.6L V6, 2.0L turbocharged I4 with the eTorque mild hybrid system, and the 3.0L turbo-diesel V6.

Stay tuned for more news on this. We will let you know as soon as we do.
