Diesel emissions cheating scandals just keep on coming. This time it’s a class action lawsuit against General Motors and the Chevrolet HD and GMC HD trucks build from 2011-2016. The lawsuits alleges that these V8 turbo-diesel engines produce two to five times the legal allowed amount of emissions. The lawsuit also alleges that engine management software on these engines has three “defeat” devices, or conditions under which the engine software allows higher amounts of emissions.

GM says there is no merit to this allegations, and GM plans to fight against these allegations.
