Tonight at 7 p.m MST The Fast Lane Truck is proud to announce our 2017 Gold Hitch award winners. After months of testing, deliberating and video producing we have found the best trucks in the land, and you can join us in the ceremony!

Award categories include midsize towing, half-ton towing, and of course the highly anticipated heavy duty 3500 dually competition. Finally, we will also announce the best off-road truck and the truck of the year. Gold Hitch 2017 promises to be a cut-throat competition among GM, Ford, RAM, Nissan and Toyota, an event you won’t want to miss.
Every year TFLtruck tests a variety of trucks on the Ike Gauntlet TM “World’s Toughest Towing Test”: eight mile towing test up a 7% grade high in the rocky mountains. Nathan Adlen, Roman Mica, Andre Smirnov and Kent Sundling push trucks to their limits in what truly is the worlds toughest towing test. We evaluate the trucks in several different categories and assign a point value to each contender. Once we complete testing, the team gathers to deliberate and decide on winners in each category.
Off-Road trucks are tested in a variety of terrains throughout the Colorado Rockies, and a best performer is chosen. From the Ford F-150 Raptor to the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X, our off-road category consists of trucks of all weights and sizes.
