Which midsize truck is losing the least amount in terms of sales? Unfortunately, this is the question we have to ask about the sales results for March 2017 in the United States. Has the midsize pickup segment reached its maximum capacity, or is this just a temporary glitch in the big scheme of things? This is still a tough question to answer. The total number of midsizers sold in the first quarter of this year grew, but only by 2,500 units overall. The segment is expanding, but not as dramatically as some manufacturers would like.
Toyota is still leading the pack, but all of the trucks lost considerable ground in March (other than the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline). Nissan Frontier saw the biggest decline of the bunch, but it’s recent sales have been fluctuating and may recover in April.
