Nissan has announced pricing for the 2017 Titan and Titan XD single cab configurations. The Titan single cab half-ton 2WD starts at $30,775 (including a $1,195 destination charge). Prices for the half-ton SV grade 4×4 go up to $36,685.
Nissan is charging a little more than $3,000 for the 4×4 system and has a two-grade strategy: S and SV.
The XD version goes up the price ladder by $1,500. While the 5.0L Cummins V8 turbo-diesel will set you back an additional $6,000. Interesting to note that the same 5.0L Cummins is a $5,000 option in the crew cab Titan XD.
How do these prices compare to the competition? All prices below are starting prices for trucks with gasoline V8s, including destination charges and excluding any rebates.
2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4×2 5.3L V8 regular cab long bed: $30,365.
2017 Ford F-150 4×2 5.0L V8 regular cab long bed: $29,630.
2017 Ram 1500 4×2 5.7L V8 regular cab long bed: $29,365.
2017 Toyota Tundra 4×2 5.7L V8 regular cab long bed: $31,595.
Chevy, Ford, and Ram all come in under the starting price of the Nissan 1500. However, the Tundra is more expensive.
