There were lots of new pickup truck debuts at the 2016 State Fair of Texas. Here are the  Top 5, according to TFLtruck. Check out this countdown video with footage from the show below.

5. 2017 Ram 1500 Lone Star Silver Editions

The 2017 Ram 1500 Lone Star Silver Edition takes the existing Lone Star trim level to new heights with chrome and polished aluminum touches. The truck receives three beautiful Lone Star Silver edition badges: one in the grille, the second on the tailgate, and a third plaque on the dash.

The truck comes with 20-inch wheels and chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps among other premium touches. It comes only with crew cab models, but can be configured with 4x or 4×4; and with a choice among three engine options: 3.6L Pentastar V6, 5.7L HEMI V8, or a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6.

Just for fun, we counted the Texas stars on the Lone Star Silver and came away with three stars (all on the outside).

4. 2017 Nissan Texas Titan

The Texas Titan edition of the all-new 2017 Nissan Titan half-ton has a very similar theme with a chrome grille and accents. It also rides on 20-inch chrome-finished wheels. A crew cab Titan half-ton or XD with 4×2 or 4×4 can be configured with the Texas Titan package, as long as it is with an SV or SL grade. It can be optioned up with a choice of a 5.0L Cummins V8 or a 5.6L Endurance V8.

The Texas Titan has five stars (three on the outside and two on the inside, one on each front floor mat.

3. 2017 Ford F-150 Dallas Cowboys Edition

Ford is commemorating its support of the National Football League and specifically the Dallas Cowboys with a limited run of just 400 F-150s. This truck will only be available in the Dallas region.

The Dallas Cowboys is higher on this list because it has no fewer than 13 stars on it. The truck has eight stars on the outside and five on the inside.

2. 2017 Chevy Silverado HD with new 6.6L Duramax V8

There is so much to talk about with the fully updated 6.6L Duramax V8 (codename: L5P). Around 90% of the engine is new for the 2017 model year. The engine has upgraded internals and new components to produce class leading 445 hp @ 2,800 rpm and mid-pack 910 lb-ft of torque @ 1,600 rpm, while delivering lower emissions and a quieter operation.

1. Ram Rebel TRX Concept

Nobody expected to see the Ram TRX concept truck. It is a functional and fully prepared high-speed off-road truck. It packs a massive 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8, which is good for 575 horsepower. Ram did not disclose the torque numbers, but the engine sounds amazing and sends power to the 37-inch off-road tires via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The truck was widened six inches to accommodate for more wheel travel and tuck those giant tires.
