The 2016 State Fair of Texas is almost upon us. Kent “Mr Truck” Sundling and TFLtruck’s Roman Mica and Andre Smirnov will be at the fair on Friday Sep 30th, 2016. We have a couple of appointments, but you should be able to find us in the pickup truck area of the fair between 10am-noon and 1pm-5pm. We will have a small stock of our new book “Truck Nuts: TFLtruck’s Guide to Pickups” for sale, which Kent and Andre co-wrote with help from Roman Mica and Nathan Adlen.
We do not a booth or a specific place we will be sitting. We will be migrating from one pickup truck booth/area to the other. If you see us, just stop us and say hello.
We are also at the fair to work. Most truck manufacturers will have news to share. Chevrolet is rolling out their 2017 Chevy Silverado HD trucks with the new 6.6L Duramax V8 turbo diesel. There is information on their dealer website that states the power of the new L5P diesel at 445 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque. Ford, Ram, and others should also have some new trucks or truck packages for all to see. If you are not in Dallas area for the fair, we will be publishing all the news to our Youtube channel and this website.
