2016 Chevy Silverado HD Midnight Edition

Check out this 2016 Chevy Silverado HD with the Midnight Edition and Z71 packages. It has a 6.6-liter Duramax V8 under the hood, it’s completely blacked out, and it rides on Rancho off-road shocks and Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac off-road tires on 18-inch rims. This is a gentle giant of a truck as it is configured as a crew cab with an 8-foot long bed.

It also has a couple of new tricks up its sleeve. It’s equipped with an optional gooseneck/5th-wheel hitch and towing kit, and it comes with three additional video cameras that are a part of a Trailering Camera System. There is a camera on the bottom of each side mirror, and an additional wireless camera that is meant to attach to the back of your trailer. The video feeds from these cameras are integrated into the factory screen inside the dash. The side camera views are activated when the corresponding blinker is enabled. The trailer camera shows the view behind when you are in reverse.

We are very excited to test this big bad Silverado HD Midnight package. We are working on videos featuring the new trailer camera system and a fully-loaded Super Ike Gauntlet with a new trailer.

We may have time for another test. Please use the poll below to let us know what other features of the this truck you are interested in. Also please let us know if “murdered out” trucks are still all the craze or whether the trend for blacked out trucks is cooling off.
