Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport Limited Edition Announced [News]

2016 Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow SportRam apparently had some paint left over from its special edition Texas-exclusive Yellow Rose of Texas pickup. Today the brand announced the Stinger Yellow Sport pictured above. The limited edition truck will feature the same exterior paint color and come in 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. Standard powertrain components will include the company’s 395-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V8 mated to an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic.

The truck’s sporting pretensions will be made via 22-inch wheels (20-inchers on 4×4 models), dual chrome-tipped exhaust, vented hood with black stripes, and body-colored accent pieces inside the cabin. The interior of the truck will be mostly black with light black chrome and yellow accent pieces. Black leather seats with yellow stitching, accent color Ram’s head logos, and colored accent sport mesh inserts will also distinguish the Yellow Stinger Sport.

According to Mike Manley, head of Ram Truck Brand, FCA Global, ““The Ram 1500 Sport offers unique features for customers who enjoy aggressive styling and great performance. Truck buyers are very attached to their vehicles and the Stinger Yellow Sport model adds a custom appearance to the segment’s best-looking truck.”

The truck has a limited production of 2,250 and will arrive at Ram dealers this month. Unlike the Yellow Rose of Texas, the Yellow Stinger Sport will be available throughout the country. Prices start at $44,340 (including destination)… A small price to pay to make sure everyone sees you coming.
