2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain X Spotted at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show [Video]

2016 GMC All Terrain X

TFL recently reported on the most off-road worthy GMC Sierra you can buy… the All Terrain X. Read the original story here. The TFL team is at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show and caught up with the All Terrain X and its marketing manager, Stu Pierce, for the Everything You Ever Wanted to Know video below. In addition to a Z71 off-road suspension and all-terrain tires found on the standard Sierra All Terrain, the All Terrain X comes with:

  • 265/65-R18SL Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires
  • Bed-mounted sport bar with LED lights
  • Performance exhaust
  • Sport side steps
  • Appearance items such as black wheels and body-colored accessories
  • A removable front air dam

Available only with a 5.3L V8, the performance exhaust on the X increases the engine’s usual output by 10 horses, up to 365. Paint colors include the black shown in the video and Summit White, Stone Blue Metallic, Iridium Metallic, Crimson Red Tintcoat, and Light Steel Gray Metallic.

Pricing has yet to be announced on the All Terrain X but a GMC representative indicated something in the $50k range once it goes on sale this spring… hopefully GMC can keep it in the low-50s. Check out the video from the Chicago Auto Show with the truck below and stay tuned for other videos from the show, such as this debut of the 2017 Ram Power Wagon.
