The first video preview is the Heavy Duty Ike Gauntlet towing test for the 2016 Gold Hitch Awards. It is the returning champion – the 2016 Ram 3500 HD dually crew cab in Limited trim. The truck has more torque and an updated air-assisted suspension over the 2015 model. It is also showcasing the update Limited trim package with the new grille and huge “RAM” on the tailgate.
The 2016 high output Ram 3500 HD makes 385 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque. This is 35 lb-ft more than last year. The truck still uses the heavy duty Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission, but the design of the air-assisted suspension has been revised.
