Toyota put together a Tonka 4Runner concept vehicle for display at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas. The Tonka 4Runner has a unique 10-inch Bulletproof Suspension lift kit with King 8×2.5-inch and 10×2.5-inch coilovers and Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 38×15.50R20LT off-road tires. Other features include a pop-up roof tent, a customized and accented interior, ladders, and beefed up bumpers. According to Toyota, the Tonka 4Runner is “the ultimate dream machine for outdoor enthusiasts.”

The Fast Lane Truck’s Roman Mica spoke with Dan Gardner with Gardner Automotive Communications, who summed it up nicely when he said “What would it be like for every kid who played with Tonka toys to actually drive a Tonka truck?”

In the video below, you can see the Toyota Tonka 4Runner with its matte black finish, yellow graphics and matching wheels. The Fast Lane Truck’s Roman Mica and Andre Smirnov covered the SEMA event, during which Toyota had other concept vehicles on display such as the 26-foot stretched Tundra “Tundrasine” and the Back to the Future inspired Mirai with gull-wing doors. Click over to TFLcar.com for details on the Mirai concept. You can also check out the Tundrasine. This year’s SEMA show will be going through Friday, November 6th, but it is not open to the public. However, everybody can see the displays outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
