The all-new 2015 Ford Transit continues sales leadership in September 2015. It is also the best improved van over last year, although it production and sales were just ramping up a year ago. The Chevy Express has slowed the sales decline from previous months with an 8.5% improvement.
Although the Ford E-Series van and wagon sales have been discontinued, the E-Series cutaway and chassis sales continue firmly in third place. The Ram ProMaster continues sales momentum with another strong month. It is locked in battle with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for the fourth place.
The Nissan NV outsold the GMC Savana nearly two to one. The Savana is seeing a dramatic decline in September as well.
