The pickup truck lineup from GM is enjoying a continued sales growth in June 2015. The GMC Sierra was the best improved full-size pickup truck in the United States over June of last year. The Ford F-series sales were down significantly for the month (-8.9%), although it’s a small improvement as it was down -9.7% in May. There are several reports that suggest that Ford is still struggling to get the production and model mix right on the F-150. Also, Ford had the Super Duty factory upgrade earlier this year that constricted supply of the heavy duty trucks.
Chevy Silverado sales are still strong as it showed significant improvement of 18.4% month-over-month.
Ram continues to grow if only by 1% in June. The Toyota Tundra and the Nissan Titan are both showing double-digit growth for the month.
