How does the 2015 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4×4 Dually accelerate with the upgraded 6.7L V8 Power Stroke turbo-diesel? This is precisely what TFLtruck wanted to find out. The new motor is using a bigger turbo and updated injectors to the tune of 440 horsepower and 860 lb-ft of torque.

It lets you rev it while in Park.

It has the most horsepower in the class, and nearly the highest torque rating (the Ram HO Cummins produces 865 lb-ft of torque). Power Stroke’s maximum horsepower is achieved at 2,800 rpm, while all 860 lb-ft of twist are delivered at 1,600 rpm. Only a slight amount of brake torquing breaks the big dually tires loose.

All TFLtruck 0-60 MPH tests are performed at approximately 5,200 feet above sea level (or about mile high). We do all runs in rear-wheel-drive. Each truck does several passes in each direction and the 0-60 MPH times are measure with SoloDL GPS device. We always report the best time that we achieved.

This King Ranch has a lot of power and a lot of traction from the dual rear wheels. However, it also weighs approximately 8,700 lbs on its own. Can it become the quickest HD truck we ever tested? It has to beat 8.91 seconds in order to do so. Check all previous 0-60 MPH times.

Check out the TFLtruck video for all the details! (If you are wondering, the F-350 Ike Gauntlet towing test will be published in a few days).
