What are the best selling pickup trucks for 2014? Here it is.
Although the Ford F-series is down -1.3% year-over-year, it still collectively outsold the Chevy Silverado plus the GMC Sierra (by about 12,000 units). Ford is the only one from the traditional “Big Three” to decline for the year. Ram pickups made a huge improvement in 2014. It grew a staggering 24% over the previous year.
[Update] Ford representative made this statement: “The all-new F-150 is off to a very strong start, with an average of just 5 days to turn on dealer lots in December – the lowest of any Ford product.”
This is all the detail that Ford provided. However, the 2015 F-150 supply is likely not where Ford would ultimately like it to be. We need to wait one or two month to really see how the new truck is ramping up.
