You guessed it.  The 2015 GMC Sierra Denali now comes with Magnetic Ride Control. This exact technology is not brand new, as Cadillac had pioneered it for their cars.  The high-tech suspension makes its way to the pickup truck market. Many Cadillac and Corvette fans will be familiar with the improvements and the difference it has made for handling and suspension feel on models such as the CTS and the C7 Corvette.  However, this is the first time Magnetic Ride Control has been brought to the full-size pickup truck game and is going to be exclusive for the 2015 Sierra Denali.

GMC hopes this will push the Denali even further ahead of the pack as the most civilized and technologically innovative full-size truck available. The sensors within the Magnetic Ride Control system can read and analyze road conditions every millisecond and inputs from the sensors can be used to change the dampening in the electronically controlled shock absorbers in just 5 milliseconds. The works nearly instantly and seamlessly while under way in order to provide Denali owners with the best possible ride comfort. GMC says that the system was designed to give customers an unmatched luxury ride while making zero sacrifices to the capability that they have come to expect. Magnetic Ride Control will nicely complement the other big time chassis improvements to the 2015 Denali such as:

  • Electronic variable-assist power steering system
  • Wider track width in the rear for more stability
  • Full boxed high-strength steel frame
