What do you do when your 2001 Pontiac Aztek leaves you stranded in a parking lot? First, we try to jump start it. We try a few more things, but in the end there is only one option left. We call Mr Truck (Kent Sundling) to the rescue with his 2012 Ford F250 and flatbed trailer.
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no – it’s Mr Truck! Our friend sped over on a Sunday to lend us a helping hand, and trailer the sad Aztek to our buddy Devon’s garage.
We started to mend the Aztek by having another mechanic replace the steering pump. For one reason or another, it started a chain reaction of broken components. We had a bad leak in the AWD system, and now the thing is dead. We will check the battery again, but we suspect a problem with the fuel system (either the fuel pump or any of the components between the pump and the engine).
We will get to the bottom of it. In the meantime, thank you Mr Truck!
