Getting Lucky: A TFL Original Video Series Preview [Video]

TFL is starting a brand new series called “Getting Lucky”. Roman, Kent, Tommy and Michael drove eight hours from Boulder, Colorado to the town of Lovell, Wyoming to look at an International Harvester Scout that had been in the same barn for over 22 years. The term “barn find” tends to get thrown around quite a bit these days, but we can assure you that this is about as much of a barn find as you can get.

The Story

The Scout, which we have named Lucky, was not running when we found it. We had to clear out the shed full of 20 year old junk and rat poop, inflate the tires, make sure nothing was seized and then finally pull the International Scout 80 out of its shed. What we found was an impressively clean body with an engine that didn’t run. Knowing how rare of a find this was, we threw it on a trailer and drove it back to Colorado where we are going to try and bring this old beast back to its former glory.

Unfortunately that is all of what I can tell you about Lucky at this time. Stay tuned for more videos coming soon while we try and bring this old truck back to life.
