• Will it Fire? Big Green Chevy Performance 350 ZZ6 Engine Swap (Part 3 of 3): Ep.9 [Video]

We have a 1985 Chevy K10 project truck we call “Big Green”.  We got a brand-new Chevy Performance 350 V8 ZZ6 turn-key engine package from Chevrolet. The new engine goes in, but will it fire after two and a half days of work!

Watch the part 3 of 3 here.  This is the finale, but not a Big Green finale. We still have to get an exhaust system on the truck and do many more videos with it! Get all the nervous atmosphere and the fun in this video?

    1. Concrats on the fire up. It is always a testosterone rich environment when you first start up an engine for a project vehicle. That feeling never gets old.

    2. Congrats guys! Looking forward to seeing more videos of this project. Not sure why people are insisting you get an EFI motor for it. Maybe they want you to replace the old school interior with a new one and replace the body and chassis with new ones too? Yes keep it old school.

    3. Great job guys, enjoy. rockauto.com has a ton of stuff for that truck if you ever run into a hard to find part. I use them often.
