What is the “Final Frontier” vlog series? It’s all about our 2017 Nissan Frontier longterm worker pickup truck. This the Frontier S 2WD King Cab that starts at $18,390 and has a final price of $20,730 as you see it here. The “Final Frontier” is powered by a 2.5L four-cylinder gasoline engine with 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. The 5-speed manual transmission sends the power to the rear 4.10 axle.
“Final Frontier” is a fun name we came up with for the series as this little Nissan “worker” truck will be doing many different jobs, and we are hoping U.S. will see a fully redesigned Nissan Frontier in the 2018 calendar year and beyond.
This first episode of the series takes place at the TFLtruck / MrTruck “Truck Proving Grounds” TPG. We do several things in this episode: introduce the TPG, show you all the trucks and trailers that we have, compare the least and most midsize pickup trucks, load the ATV, and tell you about the GMC HD Duramax that we are driving to in our Final Frontier.
