The 2017 Nissan Titan half-ton joins Nissan’s growing truck lineup. Nissan is expanding their truck offerings with the separate half-ton and regular cab versions of the Titan and the Titan XD. The expansion will continue over the next few months with the King Cab (extended cab) version, as well as a new gasoline V6 engine.
The PRO-4X package has the components to make the truck is worthy off-roader: locking rear differential, low range 4×4, and the skid plates. We wanted to put it to the ultimate Rocky Mountain test, which is our Cliffhanger 2.0 trail. This is a very steep trail with many loose rocks and soft dirt. There is a fork in the trail we call Truth or Dare, and the Razor Bend rock that the trucks have to climb over.
The Titan PRO-4X does not the best approach and departure angles, will it be able to concur this trail without damage?
