Is This The Face Of The Next Nissan Frontier?

Seen above is a picture submitted by TFL reader Alan D. of a Mexican Nissan Frontier. Sold south of the border as the NP300 Frontier, this particular truck has a “DIESEL” decal on the driver’s side rear fender and Frontier badging on the back. If Nissan were to bring the diesel powerplant to the U.S. the GM duramax twins would finally have some competition.

Similar trucks have been spotted testing around Detroit for some time now so it’s pretty safe to say this is a strong indication of what the next Frontier for the U.S. will look like. It’s about time.

What do you think, will the Mexican Nissan Frontier make it to the U.S. market? Leave your predictions in the comments section below.
