Another piece of the 2016 Nissan Titan XD puzzle is complete. The company just announced pricing for the new truck and it starts at $41,485. All XD prices you see here are for a crew cab truck configuration with the 5.0L V8 Cummins turbo diesel. The 5.6L V8 gasoline motor will be priced and go on sale a little later, while the diesel trucks are starting to arrive at dealerships this week. Yes, the new Titan has finally arrived.
There are five grade levels of the Titan XD. The 4×4 system cost is right around $3,000. The Titan online configurator is now fully functional. The Platinum Reserve truck price you see here includes all options, but Nissan still offers 25 accessories that range from rubber floor mats to remote locking tailgate and running board lights.
All prices include $1,195 handling and destination charge.

For comparison, consider that light duty crew can trucks start just under $33,000 with base gasoline engines. On the other hand, diesel-powered HD trucks start above $45,000. Of course, you can option a light duty truck to $60,000 and a heavy duty truck can set you back at over $70,000.
